Stir Fried Asparagus ==================== - 2 tbsp veg oil - 1 tbsp garlic, minced - 2 small dried chiles (optional) - 1/2 lbs asparagus trimmed + cut into 2 inch lengths - salt + pepper to taste - 2 tbsp water - 1tbsp soy sauce - 1 tsp sesame oil Instructions: 1) Heat a large skillet 3 minutes over medium-high 2) Add veg oil, garlic + chiles (if using). Cook stirring constantly for 15 seconds 3) Add asparagus and adjust heat so it sizzles. 4) Season with salt + pepper 5) Stir frequently until asparagus is brightly colored but not quite fully tender. 3-7 minutes 6) Add water, soy sauce + sesame oil Turn off heat Serve immediately OR put in fridge to eat later cold or at room temps
